The Peniel Solution, LLC  Assistive Technology (AT) Program was established in 2004, and is a part of the company’s national network of technology-related assistance programs to increase access to assistive technology (AT) devices and services for individuals with disabilities and their families, and to facilitate the development of a consumer-responsive AT service delivery system.  Program staff work with consumers, service providers, federal and state agencies, private industry, and other interested individuals to facilitate the development of a national system to provide AT services.

Peniel Solutions has had great success in the following areas with Assistive Technology:

• Assisting Federal Agencies with Section 508 compliance requirements
• Providing standardized processes and templates to ensure due diligence with Section 508 Compliance
• Creating Acquisition Plans that incorporate Section 508 Compliance Standards
• Implementing and providing research services regarding innovative Assistive Technology Products
• Conducting accessibility audits and providing reports on Agency compliance with Section 508 Law
