Senior Cloud Engineer needed at Peniel Solutions LLC in Duluth, GA to design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructure using AWS (including GovCloud), Microsoft Azure, and Office 365. Perform monthly vulnerability scans and remediation across virtual machines and cloud environments. Conduct network penetration testing and collaborate with Information Security to ensure compliance with FedRAMP, CMMC, and ISO 27001standards. Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code scripts and automation for cloud provisioning and configuration. Monitor and analyze system and network performance using AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and other observability tools. Lead sprint planning, requirement gathering, and documentation for cloud-based projects. Design and execute data migration strategies, including ETL processes and secure data handling. Maintain and support Linux and Windows-based systems, ensuring high availability and performance. Recommend and implement software and infrastructure upgrades. Collaborate with development and QA teams to support CI/CD pipelines and secure deployment practices. Requires Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field and1 year of experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer or closely related occupation involving Cloud Platforms ( AWS, EC2, VPC, IAM, KMS, S3, RDS, CloudTrail), Security & Compliance (FedRAMP, CMMC, ISO 27001, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing), Networking (Cisco, Juniper, VPN, Firewalls, DNS, DHCP), Operating Systems (Linux, Windows Server), Scripting & Automation (Shell scripting, Infrastructure-as-Code), Monitoring (AWS CloudWatch and log analysis tools), DevOps ( CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins) and Data Management (ETL tools, SQL, data migration strategies).
